We stayed at Rutledge Lake RV Resort just outside of Asheville, NC. The price point was great (approx. $60 per evening) for the amenities and the location, plus a beautiful lake! Larger size lots, full hook ups, plenty of space between you and the next camper.
There was a cute train for the kids that runs through the campgrounds every day at 4:00pm. They can hop on and take a ride, use paddle boats, canoes, go fishing, shop at a sweet little general store upfront and enjoy some great little nature paths!
I would suggest one of the pull through sites unless you’re really loving backing in your rig, which I’ll just be honest we aren’t quite there yet! Also, way more room on the pull through sites!
A few bonus items! They have a pool, recreation center and a playground, as well as great wi-fi with Verizon! A laundry and bathroom facility as well!
The campground is so centrally located only about 30 minutes from downtown Asheville. It's technically located in the sweet town of Fletcher, North Carolina and has every commercial store you’d like as well as some sweet little boutiques and mom and pop restaurants.
I’d give this resort a 5 out of 5 stars!
With Love,
